Shandong Fiberglass Group Corp. is a state-owned listed enterprise controlled and operated by Shandong Energy, with a registered capital of 600 million yuan. At present, it has three wholly-owned subsidiaries, Tianju Energy Saving Material Corp., Glasstex Fiberglass Materials Corp., and Yishui County Thermoelectricity Co., Ltd., spanning two counties, districts, and four production plants in Yishui and Yiyuan. Its main businesses are glass fiber production and its primary processing, and thermal power products. At present, there are 6 glass fiber production lines with a designed production capacity of 410000 tons/year, ranking fourth in the country. Yishui Thermal Power is responsible for 80% of residential heating in Yishui County urban area and industrial steam supply for all enterprises in Chengnan Industrial Park. The total installed capacity is 158MW, and the annual power generation is 570 million kwh. In 2021, the actual heating area will be 5 million square meters, and the annual steam supply will be 900000 tons. Before 2008, the company used the ball crucible drawing process for fiberglass production, with an annual production capacity of less than 5000 tons. The construction of the first 30000 ton annual tank kiln wire drawing production line began in 2008 and was officially put into operation in early 2009, marking a new era of transformation, upgrading and development.

    In recent years, Shandong Fiberglass has vigorously promoted the Digital transformation of enterprises, built several digital glass fiber production lines, won the honorary titles of provincial high-tech enterprise, post doctoral innovation practice base, national green factory, etc., and was selected as one of the top 50 leading enterprises of new materials in Shandong Province in 2021. In the "14th Five Year Plan" and medium to long-term development plan, Shandong Fiberglass will gradually carry out technological transformation and expansion of existing production lines, build a digital chemical factory with "information management, intelligent production, and networked operation", and create a Chinese version of Industry 4.0 Fiberglass Manufacturing Enterprise.
